Even though some air does go underneath the time circuits, its certainly not much. Here's what I did so far.

First, I shut the center vents and tapped into the door vent hose. With a 2" pvc tee and a little extra hose, I was able to keep the door vent and add an additional vent in the knee pad. The knee pad comes off easily by unscrewing a few nuts. Makes it much easier to cut the hole for the new vent. It actually works quite well. I plan on doing the same to the passenger side in the future....or in the past.
