Looks like a worthwhile project. Thanks for those links.

Anybody who spots this as being available/published next year please pass the word.

Thanks, Rich. I just caught this on Twitter today.

Have you or Tony seen this collection of photos? I know you guys are well connected in this area...would be very interesting if they're even new to you guys.

Regardless, sounds like a book I'd like to buy.

More details about this project at the DMC Club Winter Meeting in about two weeks.

Chris has been talking about writing this book for years, but it seems like he's really getting it done now. I'm really looking forward to it.

And, Chris and Barrie have been working extensively on the selection process of the photos to be used in the book.
My "hardcopy" photo collection is now with Tony Swann and Matt Sommer, but I did keep digital copies for myself.
I know there were some very rare photos that Barrie was interested in including, from both Matt's and Tony's photos.

In exchange for the use of the photos in the book, Barrie has "put names to the faces" in many of the photos in both
Matt's and Tony's collections, which has been greatly appreciated, since there are not too many DMC executives left.
Since this will be a "coffee table book", there should be some "good size" photos along with the stories and captions.

Bit off topic here...but maybe this will make a book someday. Does Giorgetto Giugiaro ever talk about the car or his experiences with design? That would be an interesting read.

As having some (very minor) involvement in this project I can confirm from having seen a lot of the pictures mentioned that this will be an excellent production, both in size and quality of the book. Chris (our club historian) has spent huge amounts of time (as have Andy & Barrie) on this project, and it will be without doubt be a superb publication. There is a thread on our forum with updates and some more info: http://www.deloreans.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4720
