Hello everyone, I just started my search for my first DeLorean. I have been lusting over them for well over a decade now but I have not had the means to purchase one. I have a couple vintage cars that I am trying to sell to get some funds together so I can finally buy my dream car.

I'm looking for a restoration project. Getting into an expensive car that has already been restored or is all original is not in the cards but restoring the car is half the fun anyways. I'd like to find a car that I can drive while I restore it.

And in case anyone is interested, I have a '65 Beetle that is finished and a '72 Super Beetle project roadster for sale in order to buy my DeLorean.

:woot:

Welcome, you have come to the right place. There are even a couple of bug restorers here too :)

The most expensive DeLorean is a cheap DeLorean.

Best of luck with your search, I'd get in touch with Josh at DeLorean Performace Industries in Tallmadge if you haven't already. He's local to you and may be able to offer some advise in helping you find your dream car.

If you want to get some hands on up close DeLorean time and meet some local owners there is a DCO event (http://ohiodeloreans.com/events.htm) at the end of August there in Cleveland. I just received the info and will be posting to the website (http://ohiodeloreans.com/events.htm) soon. We'd be glad to have you if your interested.

Call Josh Bengston at Delorean Performance Industries in Tallmadge, OH. He probably has a few he can sell you, or at least look over ones you want to buy.

My car is a very good example of this! Welcome from me as well. :)
