Is anyone interested in caravaning to DCS? I live in Chattanooga and will be heading north from here up I-75. I have one person interested in meeting in Knoxville and joining up there as we pass by. I have another vehicle that will be tagging along that we can put any tools or parts in if we need it. Just wondering who all is driving and who will be in their Ds.

The travel time will most likely be on Thursday morning. But that too depends on everyone's plans.

I think someone should start a site were anyone wanting to travel to DCS together can compare meet up places and times.

I just remembered that I had requested off of work Thursday so that I could spend that time traveling. If I am not mistaken I am not registered for Thursday events so my travel time is extremely flexible. I do have one person interested in meeting up around Knoxville on the way up. That person is signed up for Thursday so that person might need to head up by a certain time. But as it gets closer and everyone start to finalize plans we will be more able to see who all would like to meet up. I work at a mall that is right beside I-75 in Chattanooga. Which would be a good meeting place as people pass through it has easy access off of and back onto I-75. But that would just be 1 of a few places where we would need to stop to meet up with people.

Hi, I may go and would be interested in the D convoy. I just drove that trip from Josh's shop. The only downside is the bugs!!! ALL OVER THE front, bleh!

II may try to put together a more formal list of who all is interested and what their travel plans are if available with times tonight or tomorrow. Man gotta love bugs lol.

Ok this is what I have together so far. Based on feed back from people I feel the best arrival time would be to arrive in Dayton on Thursday around 5pm. This will be early enough for those that have Thursday events scheduled that they will be able to register and be ready for the start of activities at 6:30. (based on times from DCS website) and Knoxville seems to be the location that the most people are referring to.

This would give us a Knoxville departure time between noon and 1230. Travel times between major cities are listed below.

Its still fairly early and everyone I am sure is still making travel arrangements and plans. This is all still just a work in progress. I am also planning on attending the SEDOC Tech/Social May 31st I will also speak with people there and see who might be interested as well.
