  1. Nice! Sounds like you made a lot of progress! I actually just did the LED conversion too, everything except whats in the binnacle, it definitely made a big difference. I don't get below 13v now. I bought new shocks and springs awhile back, but everyone says to get the adjustable rear links, LCA Brace kit and bushings, so I'm waiting to get that stuff before doing the suspension. I have a small leak from the rear main seal, but other than that the car is running fine. Have you been taking the car out a lot? BTW the Delorean Mid Atlantic Club is having a meet down in Mays Landing on May 2nd if you haven't heard!
  2. Hey! Yea its actually really good, after a lot of work it starts, runs, idles, stops, rides great. Getting ready to do some work on the front end (springs and bushings) and cant wait to test it out. I did put new tires on her and replace all exterior lights with leds and the ride is a million time better (old tires were 28yrs old) and my volt gauge is like a rock now. How you doin? Hows delo ownership treating you?
  3. Hey! How's the car coming along?
  4. Well, I was under the car not too long ago and it looked like my closing plate to my fuel tank was a little wet. When I removed the plate I found the epoxy on the under side was like latex and bubbling, my master cylinder looks to be leaking so thats one thing. On top of that my rear brakes are not working properly, like their locked up. When I frist drove the car the front wheels started to smoke after a little while, I though the front calipers were seized but I think they were getting over worked because the rears werent doin anything . So Im goign to pop in a new master cylinder and rebuild the rear calipers (I hope) and replace the rear soft lines .. yay
  5. Nice, I'll have to check that out thanks! What are you doing brake-wise? I am considering if I want to just get new pads or overhaul the system.
  6. I haven't yet but I have checked it out. It really doesn't look too bad just very little space to work with. The instruction from dmcmw are step by step. It looks like you have to loosen the u joint at the firewall and pull the column shaft out from the interior. Then you can sneek in the bushing from the inside and hammer it in. Realigning the splines in the u joint looks to be the hardest part. I will be doing it soon though. Ive been playing with the brakes and finishing up some injector replacement and mixing. If you haven't already you have to check out Alex's step by step blog (type in alex in the search bar and youll find the link on this site) its the best. Great pics and tips. Ive spent many many days a work reading and would not be as far along if not for that blog.
  7. Hey did you do your bushing yet? Me and my friend were considering trying to do it, but none of the walkthroughs Ive found have pics, so Im a bit hesitant. If you havent done yours yet maybe we can do them together so I can copy your work haha
  8. Goin to pop it in next week and I also just got a Fuel pressure tester. Going to play with that next week
  9. Good. Sorta. I havent had a ton of time but I did get my new steering column bushing from DPMW
  10. Hey! How's the car coming?
