Cleaned out fuel tank! Was Simple!!

Hi all,

Yesterday, drained out gas from tank, it was about 1/4 filled!! Used this battery powered pump from home depot!! http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...stomer_reviews Works great!! I love it!!!

There was alot of stuff, small particles in the tank, it almost looked like vomit!! Had a funny smell to, like Bengay! Weird!!

I've hear that it is hard and annoying to clean out the tank! So I decied if I am gonna go through all that, I might as well bring the hose over and fill it with some water! I filled 1/4 the tank with water, empty it out again with the pump, and did it one more time!!

Then put in a big old cotton towel. Tried drying off as much as I can, used a stick to go in deep!! Tank was super clean and dry!! Then used a terry towel make sure it is dry, barely got the towel wet!!

So now I have a super clean dry tank!! Took a few mintues to do everything, maybe 10-15 minutes!!! I am happy!!!! :-)
