Great work! Love seeing this kind of thing, modernizing our cars.
What are you running for a speed sensor?
For now, I'm running a VW Jetta pulse generator piggybacked off the angle drive. However, when the angle drive fails, I will install a hall effect sensor on the driver side of the transmission. There are kits sold for Porsches that bolt on to our car's driveshafts to generate pulses for that sensor.
Very cool idea. I googled an image of that speed sensor, I wonder if you could just run it without the angle drive assuming you make an adapter nut and install a longer piece of square stock. Hmm.
I designed up a little speed sensor for the transaxle as you have mentioned, never got around to welding it up and installing it yet.
Here's a new update:
All indicators are now wired up and ready. I just need to make a new cluster lens without the trip hole.

Cool. Have you hooked up the other guages yet?
They have always been connected... At this moment, everything is fully functional except for the seat belt light, and that is due to a faulty chime module.
It's been a while since I've started my car, and that will be taken care of this weekend with some fresh fuel in the tank to dilute whats left of 1 year old gas. Once it's started, the temp and oil gauges will come to life.

I've sold bucket loads of these over the past few years, they let maybe 75% of the original back light through (depending if you bother to clean of the old decal) compared to the original but they look great, take about 2 seconds to install and I always send 2 sets in case you cock one up.
They are a sandwich of white vinyl, black decal and then a clear top layer.
You can checkout the feedback from many, many other DeLorean owners who have bought them from across the globe.

Rodolfo, that is a thing of beauty - and at a reasonable cost, too! Excellent work!
