This is something that is going to be released as a part of Joe Walser's upcoming book and is the culmination of 15+ years of research from a couple dozen people. From my own personal experience I can tell you that putting something like this together is an insane amount of work. There's really no way to stop at just creating a list of parts due to the large number of custom fabricated parts that need to be built as well. All of those piece parts, dimensions, hole locations, weldment assembly prints, etc. are needed above and beyond just the parts you need to buy. There is also a seemingly endless amount of assembly hardware for all the various parts, labels/decals, stamps, paint codes, etc.
I'm not actively involved with the book project at this point but from my previous work know the goal is to include as much information as possible. It's intended to be a guide that would allow a person to (accurately) convert a DeLorean into a time machine
