Hello, has anyone ever ordered parts from Delorean Go in Europe? If so, any comments on the experience?
been ordering parts from DeloreanGo for about 2 years now. Best customer service and prices out there for delorean parts.
DeLorean Go is quickly becoming the premier source for DeLorean Parts. Arran runs a great operation over in England. They offer free 2 day shipping on orders over $100.
Nothing but praise for those guys. The website is also very transparent on part sourcing and quality.
I ordered some sun visors from them thus far, which DMC no longer stocks. Great experience.
Yeah, I recently ordered an O-Ring for the Oil Filler which DMCH does not carry just the O-Ring itself. Also found a circuit breaker that I havent been able to source locally. They are great :)
Good user experience on the website, which is appreciated.
I try to support all vendors equally, but DeLorean Go have been amazing. Great parts and super fast shipping from the UK to the USA. Great job Arran and team!
Ordered several parts...fast shipping, updates on order status, excellent communication.
Most of the parts I've ordered from Delorean Go have all been fantastic - with the exception of their aluminum fan shroud which didn't line up with anything. They are custom made one-off parts (I get that), but mine just ended up not being the correct size. I modified it and made it work, but other than that, everything else has been top notch.
Just got my accumulator in today from Deloreango along with a new fuel distributer seal kit. Had been running the band aid DMCH 4cyl accumulator since that's all they had in stock and I need to put the right one back in.
Another +1 here. Ordered their Volvo style piston & liner set (9.5:1). Great experience, great price, and the set was on my doorstep in two days. [emoji1303]

Chris,
I was very interested to hear this. But when I placed my order for over $100, the 2-day shipping did cost extra. In my case the 2-3 day shipping (not the most expense option) was $14.99. What they did advertise is free shipping on orders over $100, but the free version said 6 to 20 days.
Still, like others have said, the things I have purchased from them have been great.
Ron
Ron, it just depends on what you order - size/weight etc., so it will go on the most appropriate service for "free", but with a varying price paid (and subsidised) upgrade should you need to ensure you get it particularly fast. For some items (see pistons above ^^ for example) it just so happens that 2-3 day(factor in the time difference) shipping is the most appropriate. And the "6-20 day" service can sometimes actually get there in under 2 days, although that is quite rare.
Yes I am typing this with one hand and packing your order with the other ;)
+1 to what the others have said.
Great customer service & responses to email questions.
Another +1
Arran and DeloreanGo are an asset to the community. Great products at great prices, with amazing service to boot!
Excellent parts and service, I have purchased a lot of parts from Arran. He is super responsive to emails, and as others said shipping is super fast, and free over $100! Cant beat it. Highly recommended.
When your car is down and a show that you've been planning to attend is next weekend, you pay close attention to the shipping time as you select the vendor. But maybe I'm just spoiled.
Good news: DeLoreanGo shipped amazingly quick. I'm following the tracking. It looks like I'll have a full day to make the repair. Then off to the show on Saturday. Keep the stars aligned.

Arran does a great job...I want to know when (or if) he sleeps!

I ordered from them Monday and everything showed up today in Maryland.
You had best leave my Josh alone!
You are absolutely correct. I have met Josh a couple of times, talked with him on several intriguing issues, listened to his presentations on engines, clutches, transmissions..., and have utmost regard for his opinions because they're based on direct experience and careful analysis. I just got caught off-guard with his comment on my response, and, against what should have been better judgement, didn't let it go.
Now to follow up on my most recent DeLoreanGo experience: The parts were ordered on Monday August 19th. They showed up Thursday. This is pretty amazing considering I'm on the West coast. Yes, I did pay a little extra for a fast (not the fastest) delivery option, but DG came thru and got the parts out the door immediately. I'll be able to get the car going tomorrow and get to the show on Saturday. Normally, I wouldn't be that concerned with delivery. All my other orders with DG used the no-cost or low-cost shipping. And,yes, as Arran clarified, sometimes those no-cost shipping options arrived amazingly fast. So Kudos to DeLoreanGo for automatically balancing size, weight, and destination considerations to select the quickest option even when no or low cost shipping is selected.
Ron
I just used DeloreanGo for a badly needed idle air valve motor. It was cheaper than DMCH and also a new model. It worked perfectly and reduced the
idle from 1500 to 750. I opted for the faster shipping service and it came super quick. Have to watch the days that they don't ship, I think it was Sunday no shipping and they have a different Holiday shipping than we do, like they don't celebrate July 4.
Lol, they have no reason to celebrate July 4th.

The real question is did Ron's car make it to the show?
Michael,
It's always good, and reassuring, in life when things end well. I bask in the glory and you enjoy the story. As the sun sets, all is well with both Ron and the car. Small town car shows are just neat! And in our area, it's just a fantastic time to be driving.
I had no idea there might be interest. Your post made me feel more a part of the group, so thanks.
Ron
It might be sounding repetitive but praise due is praise due. DeLorean Go and Arran especially, have been second to none with product quality/availability and customer service. I've received the stainless lettering for the rear fascia and door sills, a set of floor mats, an incredibly beautiful stainless shift knob (the weight!) and the wide-stripe kit. Arran went above and beyond working with me on a set of custom decals for the wide stripe kit in lieu of the 'DMC' normally offered. There has never been any surprises and I have a current 'wish list' online in eager anticipation.
