Working front speaker oem craig 3.5 inch.
I think I still have mine. I'll have them in another location and will check on Monday. You can have them for free + shipping. Mind you, they would be the original ones off my car, but I think they do "work".
I found the speakers. It looks like I was a bit more optimistic about their condition. They cone has separated so these would be no good.
If it wasn't for originality, there are several aftermarket 3.5 speakers that will fit. The main thing is to get one without a pop-up center tweeter. I think infinity is still making one.
These would be an upgrade and fit without modification:

There are a few to pick also on this tread...but it has some old models:

I have used these in the past and can confirm they work well.

Thanks for the info Gents.
My concern with all of these speakers is the plastic ring that surrounds the speaker (It looks like the ring protrudes about a half inch from the top). Why do they do that? Will it interfere with installation?
Thanks
Charlie
Built-in standoff, although the ones linked to look like they're butyl rubber if I see right (don't quote me on that, I'm going by visual alone), which is softer and will "cave" a bit if it comes down to it. Can't speak to installation -- haven't figured out radios yet -- but literally anything sounds better than 35-year-old cones, the material selection goes bad after about 15 years realistically. Do your ears a favor and go aftermarket, the thread linked to is a megaresource for that.
Front Speaker Update. Purchased the JBL GTOs. They are designed horribly. The tweeter sticks out past the circular mounting flange. Therefore, you cannot get a flush fit. Terrible engineering! The flange needs to be approx. 1/4 inch taller. So annoying....Why would they do that ???
