This one is mostly original. Will require updates and need new tires (original NCT radials).
Otherwise doesn't look too bad. Wish they would take frame pics though:banghead:

Apparently it was more important for them to make sure we knew that this vehicle is negative earth.
No door guides installed on this car. How would that have happened? Wasn't this one of the COG stories told at DCS where each tech had to go from dealership to dealership with his pail of door guides, screws, drill bit... and then borrow a drill to put these onto every car? I've seen metal ones and the plastic ones, but never a car that had neither. Interesting.

Thank Goodness They Capitalized Every Word! It Makes It Seem SO Much More Luxurious And Special!
I love the aftermarket cruise control switches in the ashtray! It even looks like they matched the vinyl grain on the switch surround. Was that upgrade commercially available through a vendor back in the 80's?
Not a bad looking car (and fairly good looker). Too bad there aren't any underbody shots, but I can probably schedule a weekend off for someone come scope it out with me. Thanks again to Andrew Lemke and Stephen Rice for notifying me of this post. I'm looking to purchase an automatic, so I will definitely mark this down. :)
Cruise control and 10k Miles :yoda::)
Yes, that's a fairly clean job of integrating the controls. Somebody even took the trouble to align the mounting screw slots.
I don't recall any vendors selling such an upgrade back in the '80s.
The switchplate isn't D-specific. The black textured vinyl is a commodity material. So a good DIY-er or a decent car stereo shop (remember those?) could have done it.
I picked this baby up and am now a proud owner. I can post under body pictures if anyone is still interested. It's beautiful under there, no sign of rust at all.
Welcome to the cult! Good luck with your new baby
