Correct. This happened to a friend of mine. He found out his mechanic was letting people sit in, and crawl around in his car without his permission via Facebook photos he happened to see and wasn't pleased. This is a guy that will let anyone in his car who asks, he is very open about sharing his car, but permission is a big part of that equation. Don't want to roast this YouTube guy without the full info, he very well may have had permission.
Good point. Not only should the shop had the owner's permission, they were putting additional mileage onto a very low mileage car. Of course the shop could say they had to test the car anyway and took her along for a short ride. With no plates and maybe no insurance the shop was taking a big risk driving it on public roads.
I thought the early cars had the speedometer that didn't go past 85?
