I thought I posted this updated version (I added main harness connections...no errors to previous reported).

Thanks for this, Ron! It is extremely helpful to have all of that info on a single page. :)
Ron. Thanks for all the great information here.
What is the process for using the test lamps?
Does the car have to be in motion/driving to see the sequence of test lamps, per the logic described in the diagram on the first post?
+1...on jackstands, or long wires if you want to watch them under load.
Great information. I have repaired dozens of these over the last 20 years- don't think I have seen all of the data collected in one place like this before. Nice job!
The light indicators make sense for the gears, thanks for this inspiration! If I wanted to make an indicator for Park/Neutral, would I tap into the yellow/white wire?
EDIT - I would probably feed signals into an Arduino (I think this is what is meant by logic box?) and then control the output indicators from there. So maybe it makes sense to connect Arduino pins as INPUT_PULLUP to the grounds (B, D, 6) and read the voltage value of them to determine what gear the car is in?
Yellow/White wire is grounded when the transmission is in neutral or park. It completes the circuit for the start inhibit relay.
Thank you!
