It's a shame I won't get to admire Soundkillrs car again this weekend but at least it's being cared for. Crazy to think thered be parts someone would want to replace on it though.

I replaced my engine mounts with new ones from DMC in Humble. I ordered them in November, and they finally got in a few days ago.

It's a little bit of a pain, but I did it on my creeper using a jack to lift the engine. I left the car on the ground and used jack stands for the entire job.
Also, it's a good idea to replace the M8 bolts that secure the mount to the frame. I bought the four grade 10.9 plated bolts and washers at Oreillys.
Recently on my way to work I noticed my AC wasn't blowing cold, so I made a note to look into it during my lunch break. I opened up the engine bay to take a look at the AC compressor, only to discover that I no longer have an AC belt! Looking around, I found a couple small pieces of it scattered in the engine bay. I recall checking my belt condition and tension sometime last year and it all looked good. So I reached down to check the pulleys, and the bottom pulley was completely seized. Obviously this is what caused the belt to drop.
The original pulley bearings I removed:

I installed the new bearings (and new o-ring) and assembled the pulley bracket but before installing it back in the car, took a bunch of pictures of the assembly. Hopefully these will be a helpful reference to people who do this in the future. You need to put all the little washers and parts in the correct order and orientation or it won't work.

Got my car back from the shop!!! (Actually this was yesterday) Gave her a quick bath after driving around for a bit.
Had DPI braided stainless fuel lines installed, rebuilt digital transmission computer, and a few other odds and ends. Glad to have her back!Attachment 51429Attachment 51431
