Hi, I have a 1981 Delorean but its hood was replaced with a flat version. I'm looking to trade someone or buy a hood with the grooves, but no gas flap. Please let me know if you or someone you know may be selling one. I live in Orange County, California. Thanks!
I've got a spare grooved hood (no flap). The stainless is really lovely. It was hand-picked for me by Chris Nicholson from Rob Grady's collection and re-grained by Chris in 2016. The fiberglass side is nice, but cosmetically could do with being re-finished. There's some messy yellow glue around the carpet edges that needs cleaned up. I took it off my car about 6 months ago when I luckily managed to source a very rare brand new NOS grooved hood south of LA.Quote:

I believe it was purchased in the early 80s for a job that didn’t go ahead. He liked the part so much, he kept it pristine for 35 years. I got lucky.
