Trying to sort an issue with the doors , When are the door solenoids engaged ?
Hi. There are 2 coils in each one, one for unlock and the other for lock. My understanding is that the 2 locks are slaved together so when you press unlock on the rocker switch or turn the key, both unlock coils fire to complete the unlock operation. The same goes for the lock operation.
There are some pictures of the insides of the coils and a wire identification in this thread if it helps:

Sure. The rocker switch shown below is just the plastic switch that you rock forward or back to unlock/lock the car from the inside:

Let's say your car is locked and you are sitting in the car. When you rock the switch forward on the driver's door, it will unlock not only that door, but because they are wired together, this action will activate the solenoid in the passenger door and its rocker switch will also move forward and unlock that door. So these switches move together even when you only press one of them.
Here's a useful DMC tech video general overview of the door systems. There's a segment showing the door lock mechanisms.

That helps. Neither of the rockers have any effect , I will go check wiring
Thank you
It was called the Central locking System because if you lock or unlock either door from the inside OR the outside, the other would also. If the system is not functioning the first place to look is behind the passenger seat to see if the door lock module is hooked up. Because of the high failure rate of the door lock module it has probably been disconnected.
Would you agree , from the picture the module has been taking out ?
Agreed. Here is what it looks like installed and plugged in:
