Hood Emblem Mounting Question

hello all,

If any of you have a D with a hood emblem, I am in need of knowing where to mount it. I've ordered a replacement from DMCH and would like to know how far up from the front of the hood and how far in from the driver's side it should be.

I eyeballed it, I'm sure there is a template somewhere, but I like mine where it's at
