DeLorean 40th Birthday Bash - Zach DeLorean
DeLorean 40th Birthday Bash - Zach DeLorean
While COVID-19 made 2021 another challenging year for DeLorean Enthusiasts,
there was one very bright spot among the pandemic variants. Zach DeLorean
attended his first DeLorean Event since he attended a DeLorean Factory tour
with his father, back in the very early days of the initial DeLorean production.
This past Summer, DCS Lite 2021 gave DeLorean owners and enthusiasts their
first opportunity to interact with Zach DeLorean at a DeLorean Car Event.
For those who attended the event will remember Zach’s interview with Tamir,
that turned into “Marathon Q&A Session” that went on for nearly 2.5 hours.
Zach was ready to talk to the DeLorean Community and freely take questions.
Zach was even more of an “open book” than expected, surprising even Tamir
with a few stories that Tamir had not heard before. DCS Attendees learned a
lot about Zach and his relationship with his Dad and the DeLorean family.
Zach needed some time to “take it all in” before the interview would be posted
on YouTube and it happened to coincide closely to a Christmas “release” to the
public this weekend. Thanks again to Todd (DeLoreanTech) for both filming and
editing the video footage from Zach’s interview and the extended Q&A session.
This is a place-holder thread for link to the upcoming video post. A low-res copy
of the video was uploaded successfully to YouTube yesterday (Christmas Day),
as a test (for the 2.5 hour video), so once I get the final link to the video, I will
post again to this thread (hopefully later today).
If you saw it initially at DCS 2021, you will enjoy reviewing it again. If you had
missed it, then Merry Christmas and enjoy this gift to the DeLorean Community.
Thanks,
Rich W.
High Resolution Version of Zach DeLorean Interview (Link)
DeLorean owners, fans and enthusiasts,
For those of you who know how long it can take to upload a short video to YouTube,
you may also know that it can take most of a day to upload a two hour video.
So, the 2.5 hour Interview and Q&A took even longer, but it is finally ready to view.
Todd added the video resolution options once all the versions uploaded successfully.
Keep in mind there are numerous F-Bombs throughout the video, and the video is
2.5 hours, so grab some snacks and a few beverages, the settle in for the viewing.
