Hah! I don't even own a car yet and I want a cup holder. How's that for priorities.. :8ball:

Cup holders are a subject near and dear to my heart. You don't know what you've got til it's gone!
Question about some of those cup holders I saw mounted below the door sill though- if you have a drink in there when you try to get out of the car, does that interfere with your ability to do so? Or is it something you can live with?
Just dont mount one to the door,,,,just sayin'
I buy my drinks in bottles and let them rest in the cubby hole at the rear of the console. My years of driving old BMWs has prepared me well for this.
That said, I don't drink coffee which might enable my behavior.
Piqued my interest on that bit, can you clarify what you meant? I don't drink coffee either, just kinda threw me and don't want to assume anything.
I like your idea though, wonder if I can find a properly sized insulated bag with ice for it. The last parade I was in, the water was literally undrinkable from sitting in the sun and having about 120 F water to drink. Burn yourself to quench your thirst, or stay thirsty, only two options. (But again, my cupholder is where the radio used to be, and I was also dumb enough to leave the bottles in the car overnight, so by the time mid-day hit they were already burning up). That solves a lot for me
Coffee is generally served in a non-sealable container so you can't just close it and toss it wherever. In the BMWs I would use the door pocket or the crevice where the hand brake is. Not viable options in the DMC, though.
