Assuming we're talking about the same part then VINs 510, 737 and most (if not all) of the 121XX cars have this blackout A/C panel as a 'standard' (i.e. factory fitted) part.
Here it is fitted to...
Hi Shep,
I'm curious as to how the blackout A/C panel on this car and VIN 500 differ from the 'standard' blackout A/C panel? It's hard to tell from the photos.

Hi DMCNI,
Check out Richard Gadeselli's article in Performance Car, January 1984. On page 46 there's some information about the proposed European dealer network.
I contacted Richard a few...

Hi all,
I'm looking for a coil cover, the early version without the Dzus fastener. It's part number 105905 although DMC don't list it online.
Here's how my car looked when a PO owned it:

I'm still looking for a set of black DMC logo floor mats after I missed out on a NOS set on eBay a while back when the seller wouldn't ship outside the US.

Incidentally, according to Chris Parnham the factory did put a turbo on one of the RHD drive cars for evaluation purposes. You'd have to chat to Chris for more info on this though.
Hi Starglider,
Did you get chance to check out your chassis number yet?
Best wishes,
Phil
Hi Shannon,
I'd be interested to hear more about this too as the 12XXX VINs were assigned retrospectively to the known surviving Wooler-Hodec cars, most likely by the receivers.
The 12XXX...
What did you decide to do about the tape mark under the hood latch? My car has an early underbody too with a similar tape mark and I'm wondering if it's the remains of this sort of factory sticker:

Hi all,
I've posted this in "historical", but it may not be the correct place; moderators please feel free to move it.
I've posted a similar thread on one or two of the other forums but I'm...
Hi Rich,
VIN #510 originally had a flat hood too. During Chris Parnham's ownership of VIN #510, the following modifications were carried out:
Hood converted to pleated gas flap hood by PJ...
The question is, which pattern? The evidence indicates that there were two distinct 'phases' of Wooler-Hodec conversion patterns:
Phase 1: Single brake servo/booster
Phase 2: Dual brake...
Dermot is pretty much spot on here. The so-called "Euro" Rubbolite tail lights were never a factory option. The Rubbolite lights and the different tail light / number plate (licence plate for those...
