swapped the spark plug cables (ht leads) which ones that better seal off the spark plugs from the weather.

They don't care because of some rule it doesn't matter.

It is connected to the iPod connector of the Alpine Head unit, using a 30-pin to lightning adapter (the white cable you see).

With the current design, you'll have to plug in the lightning cable yourself. I agree that it is not optimal, but i have to work with the limits of the printer (orientation and overhanging structures)

This is just the bracket and holder that i am making. I connect my phone to the ipod connector of the alpine head unit. That takes care of the charging for me
