Finally got this resolved. Turned out to be a bad shock on the rear passenger side. The upper bushing was toast. Thanks again to everyone for the suggestions.
I appreciate the suggestions, quite a few of these I didn't even consider. Gonna keep the car parked for the time being but this'll give me a good list of items to investigate when I get some time....
Over the past month or so the Delorean has started making a clunk or knocking type noise in the rear passenger side of the car. It only happens when going over bumps or if the road is uneven with...

So the first 88 are more NFT related stuff, which I don't think exactly went so well the last time...
Apparently he now plans to make a Netflix show based on this insanity

Ha! I knew I couldn't have been the only one that thought "The robot from Power Rangers?" upon first hearing Alpha 5.
Not really feeling the doors, they look huge. I probably would have liked it more if it had been a 2 seater. Maybe it’ll grow on me once I see one in person.
It would depend on the antenna. Factory antennas after the windshield ones were fixed mast, while late 81s had retractable ones. It’s also possible an antenna has been replaced with an aftermarket...
Thread says it was in Idaho.
Checked his website, and it looks like Toby's fans are currently sold out unfortunately. I'm planning to take the car in to Danny at DMCCA in July, so I'll probably just end up replacing the fans...
So thankfully, I didn't have any issues disconnecting the jumper from the socket. From what I can tell, the existing socket doesn't appear to have been ruined. I don't see any clear signs of melting...
They don't appear too bad. Appears to be some slight melting along the one side though.
Driving the DeLorean home from work Friday night, A/C running, I'm sitting at a red light a mile from home, and I start to smell something burning. I look over to my passenger side, and see an...
The 85 MPH speedometer and highlighted 55 wasn't mandated until 1979, so that is primarily thanks to Jimmy Carter and Joan Claybrook. The law was repelled a couple years later after Reagan took...
My car is at DMC California right now getting the window motors replaced. They also took it to get it's smog check for the year. They do good work, don't hesitate to take it to them if you need...
That'd be great if you guys could update that, would love to know what new information has been found in the last few year.
I too have always enjoyed the vin registry site. The pursuit of the actual production number has always fascinated me. It's like a fun mystery to try and solve.
I always thought that the...
Thank you very much for posting this. I just fixed my passenger side switch by following this step-by-step.
Just drove it to work and let the co-workers pose with it for photos. They had a blast, was a fun day.
Original thread on it.

3 years ago it supposedly had 1600 miles on it and was going for $31,500, which no one bought it for....
Well if his VIN is 15275, that means his 83 model year was originally an 82 model with VIN number 10275 prior to the Consolidated International purchase (all 15XXX, 16XXX, and 17XXX 83's were...
To help that theory, I was one of those grinning kids that fell in love with the car thanks to the movies and was finally able to afford one last year. In fact I made an extra effort to buy it last...
As much as I would love for this to pass I don't have much faith it will. There was another bill recently that would have made all pre-1981 cars exempt that failed to pass.
Those were probably the earlier Craig's that did not have a clock integrated, and had an external clock located next to the rheostat/dimmer knob instead.
