I have not, I will check. If it doesn't have voltage, where does that wire go? I don't think I have a battery light pulsating... I'm not sure my light has ever worked. Might be burnt out.
The connector, for the new alternator, had all the wires cut except the brown wire. I got it from deloreango.
Greetings all!
I replaced my old Ducellier alternator out with a new one from one of the vendors. I got it installed and now it isn't charging. I checked with a multimeter at the alternator and...
Probably to touch on what other people said.... In the end it's your car. If they want the car that bad, they will pay you what you want. "Lucky for us" there aren't many DeLoreans out there... So if...
Leroylem I believe had one when he showed me his car. You can contact him on here and see if he still has it. I know he took his out for a V8 swap. Probably even still has a carb set up.
Is the install with your kit pretty self explanatory?
Went to go charge my air conditioning today and heard something leaking. Seems to be leaking under the car by the driver side footwell. I am assuming this is the line leaking as I can't physically...
Heard you on the radio in Minnesota 93.7 kxxr
I bypassed the relay as stated and still didn't work. I jumped the otterstat and the fans would run. So I'm not sure if I still have air in the system or a bad otterstat.
I am replacing the hot water valve, as the bypass that the previous owner put in failed, and I can't seem to find where the vacuum hose is that goes to it. Any suggestions?
Also in troubleshooting...
I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like a pretty standard 194 bulb.

I will be headed to Louisiana next week and was just wondering if any owners wanted to get together and talk DeLorean? I won't have my car with but, I think it would be fun and it would get me out...
I was in a very similar situation such as yourself. I wanted a DeLorean so bad when I was 17! One had come up for sale, near where I lived, and I just had to have it! The problem I had was that no...
That brings up a question though. How would you get all these parts to events? You would need a separate rig in order to carry all the parts. I imagine it would be fairly difficult hauling flux bands...
Mine will do that from time to time if I have the a/c running.
Did you have the air conditioning on?
Sometimes it helps to weld the broken bolt/stud to a washer and then welding the nut onto the washer. But yeah it usually comes right out once you weld it! If the weld breaks, try again!
I would have thought Walmart would have a retrofit kit.... hmmm. It's cool that we have a new owner in MN! (Pun intended)
Anyways I would be excited to see pictures as I wasn't in attendance :(.
I found mine on Craigslist. It was a little easier to search Craigslist a couple years ago. They had a website which would search all of Craigslist for what you were looking for, instead of a single...
Another reason I don't like Starbucks! The only other reason is that I don't like coffee...
I remember reading in another thread about this. I believe that is how they fix it.
This means the system will bleed itself
