flawed !!!!!!!!
Thanked the lord for the nice motorist who flagged me down.
I re-soldered the rear light stack last night and in my excitement of getting it working thought I would put the screws in it tomorrow....
Awesome... I love john Leguizamo and he is so under-rated as an actor and should be in a lot more.
Ta, I bit the bullet last night.... I assume its sold in longer lengths, it was a pig for kinking whilst I was doing other stuff.
I have routed it behind the ballast resistor and down there to...
Hi, Following the tub off resto I am just putting the vacum hose back in. I have a new one from before and never connected it.....I have it plumbed in at the centre console at the join to the switch,...
It sold for over 100 before...
Greater than 130 k for a 40 year old car.... I don't think they would drive it much.
Awww RIP Mike, just watching the youtube video now, seems full of facts and accurate information.
Any idea how do we get onto the event next year ? Any contacts ?
luckily this was just a loose wire to the oil sensor.... Happy days.
Aye, I have LED set for the BINNACLE so this may be the straw which makes it worthwhile doing. I have a lot of the pads out from doing the steering column so it may be a good time.
Thanks guys... I am sure that bulb is a doozy to get to as well :)

The Oil Light is controlled by another pressure sensor switch on the driver's side just in front of the AC belt tensioning...
After a rebuild I expected the oil light to come on on initial key turn on the dash, but from the looks of it, it doesn't. I have checked 3 videos of ignitions and the oil light doesnt come on.

Hi David,
Without a torch would repeated soaking and gradually trying to get it to move stand a chance ?
Can you achieve the temp required with one of the handheld gas bottle torches ?
Just to finish this thread off should anyone else be wondering in the future I know it all helps and sometimes its annoying they just fizzle out. I had an additional pair of brown wires on the...
Happy days I have reverse.
Thanks for the help guys, I will be honest I had no idea gears were so simple. I could see where the old mark where the nut was on the gearshift cable so returned it to...
What amazed me was how that was on private property so close to the road...
Its a shame, but we don't know the details and I think we just need to respect someone else's property.
There is a chap down the road from us who has tractors in his field, They look about 20...
Awesome video... as soon as I see that video I realise I had to move that adjuster considerably to get the cable on when re-assembling so I clearly haven't taken the slack out of it.
Seems easy for 1 or 2 but if you imagine all of them together, it would be a bit of a rats nest to see if there were an issue quickly. Vs 20 or so in the fuse box you can systematically work your way...
Thanks All,
I think I realise what you are saying. Whilst the gearstick is going into REVERSE... the linkage isn't selecting reverse at the other end.. is that logical ?
No, I just separated the transmission from the engine for the clutch. I recall reading if I followed the book I would have 5 reverse and 1 forward so its not that. At least I would be able to get...
Thanks Dave, yeahh I have driven it before so know what reverse is like... What I cant figure out is how I am getting it selected and its going forward. I could fathom not getting it in gear or...
Hi Folks, full Tub off Chassis refurb is virtually finished. I have also checked the clutch, changed the oil seal behind the clutch and re-assembled.
Its all back together, get it running.......
I use these too... great to have. Its amazing how much technology has come with heat shrink connectors they are so much safer than old school crimp and tape.
