Death by chocolate? :)
Suggest you reach out to the following members over @ teslamotorsclub.com - wk057, ingineer, and btr_ftw
All have torn into Model S components either through salvage dismantling or out of...
I will be over after 12, possibly closer to 1 to assist with torsion bar adjustments and whatever other random projects are on deck. Who is working on what during the tech day?
Still no...
Woot!
Hah I didn't realize you were in MO until you mentioned the heated garage! Down here the car was in an air conditioned garage. :)
Give me a shout here via PM or at dgrozio (at) gmail.com if you...
Oh, and let me be the first, but not the last to ask you - "Where's the flux capacitor?"
Hahaha. Yep thats my car. I assume Tom managed to get everything worked out but I didn't get an update. Funny to learn my car sold on DMCTalk. :)
Feel free to ping me with any questions or if you...
Hey Bruce -
That looks great! Wonderful pictures!
Glad everything worked out good for you at the Hard Rock. I have no idea how they got you in the front - did you drive through CityWalk or is...
DeLorean Club of Florida's Facebook page have a ton up - thanks Ed!
I'm registered as well, woo!
If you go to Jack In The Box save it for Saturday night / Sunday morning @ 2am, as it's quite a drive to South Carolina from Orlando. :-)
I think most of us will be at the hotel already starting on Thursday. We may want to consider a tech day during the day on Thursday or the weekend before.
Just took a rubber mallet to the back of the roof box to push it down. You don't have to but it meant less forceful torquing on the carriage bolts and less of the need for someone to stand above you...
Your box definitely needs to be bolted down. Then place the t-panel back on and I bet it lines up with your doors better. Bars sticking a bit out if the bracket are OK. Also I did mine inboard of the...
I took them out to clean them and retorque them, and also adjusted the passenger door in the process. I don't see why you couldn't do this while leaving them in.
Thanks. Yeah somethings been up with the webring code recently with redirects. Need to figure it out or remove it.

I can't believe that front frame held attached to the rest of the car!
Frames looking mighty clean. Amazing how that engine cradle looks after the dip. Get your metal shop guy working overtime on...
Bruce - just saw your post, you can reach out to Richie at Metropolis Productions. They have actors available for both as well.
4x4's, cinder blocks, and several extra hands... :-)
I am sure Morpheus will be in here soon and can toss up pics of his body/frame separation. Or, he may have pics in a thread if you do a search.
Managed to get it working today. Bulb type 161 in place of the LED.
Put the bulb in, and jump the black and red wires that go into the sender (on the tankzilla harness). This should turn the...
Thanks, thats great. I do have the newer door lock module.
Door lights are LEDs and would be on, I've never disabled the door lights nor do I have a switch in place to do so.
Was talking with Adam at the DCF tech day and discussing the idea of disabling the door lock system when the doors are up. Every once in a while I'll bump my remote in my pocket triggering the door...

They have some 12 o'clock walkthroughs in there to check for a bad connection.
Hope to give the unit I have a test this week sometime.
Engine hasn't run since last July, been drained of oil and sitting on a stand for more than 6 months.
