I hate it too,But it's just one of those things you force yourself to look at.
I would not wish it on any DeLorean car or owner ever!!!!

I tell them that was kickning off in Belfast the day the car left the factory and a petrol bomb went through the window.
Got the joints on my car,and the steering rack rebuilt kit.

Really mate I would change the lot.
The steering is much firmer,it brakes in a strait line,it got rid of the shake i had on the steering wheel when breaking.
I can throw it into corners on my local...
Anyone looking too change their anti roll bar and lower control arm bushes,I would highley reccomend Toby's sway bar kit.A big :thumbup:.

Fuel's just gone down over here from £1.45 a litre to about £1.33 a litre.
It cost's about £65 ($100) to fill the DeLorean up and last's about 250 miles on a run.
Walk...........one for each foot!!
Can't complain Dave.It went for it's second M.O.T on Tuesday and passed with 3 advisorys.
1.Slight oil leak from rear crank seal.
2.Slight Play in steering rack(about 1mm).
3.Slightly worn...
As Dave swingle know's,I purchased my car from him in November 2010.
I spent six months getting it on the road.
after sitting still since 1997 all it needed was a new fuel pump,clean tank,unseize...

The Lambo stalks look like 70's mini too me which is Lucas.
Hence the Delorean stalks are modified mini.
Makes you wonder how much more in the electric department the too cars share.
Tie rods are from a Hillman imp.

All i'm saying is,it worked for me and your right in that the glue probably wont hold forever but I know now what the problem is, and at some point will need to replace the throttle control because...
I hear what your saying Dave as I tried that,but you still have that play on the ball joint which the throttle linkage (spool end) can't loose.
As soon as you tickle that throttle with your foot all...
I had a simular problem over the weekend.
Turned out the ball joint on the bottom of the throttle spool which the throttle linkage connects to had play init.
just that little bit of play upset the...
