Its probably been done already, but i decided yesterday to start sending the stupid DeLorean comments the opposite way yesterday. My neighbor had his car up on blocks with all four wheels off. So i...
I expected most new owners to be in their late thirties or in their forties, but there are several i know of that are in their early 20s... Not the majority for sure, but i think it shows that this...
I assume Bill is hoping to find one and pay less than the money it's going to take to get a NOS one...
if you do go the NOS route, get the carrier too.

You looking for the bumper pad/impact absorber or the fascia itself?
I have a bumper pad, it isn't in great shape, but we can chat about it if you like. I'm in NW Florida.
They were probably undersized on purpose when manufactured. Middle one maybe missing so that it could be drilled when the door was assembled. that's my guess. I wouldn't be shy about drilling that...
I think you'll be retaping the holes. don't be afraid to upsize if you have to. it's just a closing plate.
As for cutting more holes... it wouldn't be detrimental to the structure if you made it...
One man removal - A hoist or some way to 'hang' the door from above to support the weight of it and also keep it from falling when you removed the bolts. don't think i've seen it done, but that would...

Let me just say that i’m not a vendor and don’t have the same level of experience that someone who works these cars for a living. Just helping friends out.

Its a mysterious mystery.
I just picked up a second project as well. (well... in February) though this one was a little more used and not stored very well. despite that, I got it running without rebuilding the fuel...
I'm sorted now, no longer needed. Thread can be closed or deleted.
Thanks for the tips everyone, i took the filter off this morning and cranked it. Nothing came out. I then blew some shop air into the ports of the filter attachment point. Tried again and now have...

Thanks David, I've been cranking it a lot. like drained the battery. (not continuously, did for like ~30 - 40 seconds then let it rest a bit) First car got so much oil that I was limited in how long...
Thanks for the tips, when I filled the oil I did exactly that, so they have some lube for the cranking, just not seeing any new oil coming out of the rockers.
I am working on bringing another car back to life that has sat for ~28 years. I have put fresh oil in and have been cranking the engine with the valve covers off to make sure I am getting oil up to...
Sent you a PM
I'm looking for a drop in ready long block.
I'm in Northwest Florida, I will cover fright shipping costs, or I'll come and pickup if its within ~500 miles of me.
thanks!
Not to read into it too much... but that isn't a DeLorean under that sheet....
Very Nice!

Rob was responding on a FB post in the tech help group the other day. He stated that he has sold the majority of his parts stock to Delorean EU, and isn't currently working on DMCs, but hasn't...
