There was a period in time when it happened to me too, the rear latch wouldn't stay closed. Therefore I adjusted the pin and with a couple of effort it worked and now the door stays perfectly close....

I think it might be called "ball joint remover". In fact, it is needed when you remove ball joints! But it worked well in that situation!
