Those new billet LCAs look great, are they stronger than old ones I'm running?
Randomly picked up some Ford plastic trim fasteners at auto parts store and finally fix my passenger door roof panel. It always was a bit loose. Had to make a slight modification to the fasteners but...
I got the complete kit with their new LCAs. I left my original front end recall bracket in place. Didn't affect the rest of the new parts.
There seem to be a lot of negative comments in here so...
Go with DPI coilovers. Gives you lowered profile and lots of adjustments for stiff or soft ride.
I put my deposit down days ago for the 500 mile range version
Old one I took awhile ago. http://dmctalk.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=61686&d=1573168417
I have the DMCH ones, after about one year the outer seals showed terrible cracking. They sent me new ones free of charge but now these are starting to show signs of cracking again. I'll try a...
The movie definitely. Seeing other people get excited when I drive mine is what really makes me want to keep it and deal with all of its nuances. Otherwise it isn't that great to drive in my opinion,...
Ya, I used his site often for his pictures of parts when working on my car. Good resource. He was pretty helpful with me when replacing my AC system, RIP Hervey.
What would drive the pump if you moved it? Can't see what the benefit of moving it would be.
I have the DMCH support bar. It's nice and painted black to match but I do wish it had two pieces to sandwich the louvre. You have to drill the holes which is a tight fit so a normal size drill...
I think someone got lucky on Bring a Trailer awhile back. I found mine on Ebay for what I think was lucky back almost 3 yrs ago. Like others have said you just might have to wait for one of the...
Does your r134 have a bunch of green dye additive?
That might be showing you have a good ac leak but is your AC working still?
I'll get in trouble for not following rules but I posted a for sale item on this site and got like zero replies. Ended up joining the Facebook delorean parts for sale group and posted the same items...
Ya, the pump will run without the car on. Easy to spot and/or hear a leak. I had my battery terminal ready for a quick disconnect in case fuel started spraying in the back.
The smoke machine might...
Maybe try to jump the RPM relay first to see if you have an obvious fuel line leak. Might be better to do that first before spraying more flammable fluid around.
When I just replaced a bunch of...
You can use a search engine for craigslist that searches all areas across the country. Autotempest comes to mind for that. It's sort of a pain but will easily do the massive search for a Delorean
Good thing those purple rings are removable, they would never fit in the front upper mounts. That kit looks nice though, great to see other options available for our cars.
I have DPI's setup with...
I just went through the same thing last week. Pressure tested and saw the tiniest wet spot, even had a good size leak at the radiator. I said the hell with it and filled it with coolant and under...
I changed it when doing an oil change. Filter was in the way for me. Once that was gone it was easy.
I've dabbed mine with a cloth towel after spraying the surface with carpet cleaner. Seemed to work.
I gently bent mine to get it free after removing all the screws. Don't recall having any significant problems. Think I pulled the wipers though to gain extra clearance.
Installed new waterpump, waiting 24 hrs for sealant to cure on backing plate before coolant. All new hoses are in, working on DPI fuel lines today.
I had a local shop repair a few scratches and repaint mine without removing from the car. Just had to ask them since removing would likely snap a lot of rusty bolts. $500
