No I've never tried that josh!
Parkerized a lot of nuts and bolts.
Yup, as long as it looks like it works.
That would be great. You rebuilt it successfully?
Jonathan - or should I say assistant to the traveling secretary...
We can rebuild it, but we'll have to send away for some super tiny instruments.
Yeah, we have a deal with defrost switches.
Check the glove box light as well.
Try unplugging your door lock module. They will drain your battery in 2 weeks.
Also - don't trust your alternator. Put a meter across the battery at...
I have never once used the defrost function. Has anyone actually used this? I've never seen the window even fog up, let alone get frosty. Then again this is the pacific north west and the car rarely...
I heard there were instructions floating around somewhere?
Clearly the way I'm trying to put it back together isn't working.
We also just adopted the 24 hour clock, but some cities have not implemented the change. Prime Minister Poutine has not yet figured out where to draw the time change zones.
Also, if you need to break into your engine bay, remove the rear left tail light and manually open the latch.
If you have an original lower engine cover latch, try and get it working. It's usually a delicate balance of:
- fore/aft fascia alignment
- engine cover bump stop height
- latch height in the...
#*^$&@^)*&$^)&# DELOREAN @*(#@&#)(@#&(*@#@ PIECE OF #&(*$&*@&#&*#$&(#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope that helps!
I have a massive parts order from Toby on its way north and he threw in a NOS hose. The car is still r12.
Thanks for the help guys!
This splice is in the accumulator hose 100750.
The system has pressure in it, but not enough to trigger the compressor. I'm guessing this is less than ideal. I've replaced the compressor hose...
I was quoted this the other day actually:
Valve covers - $220
Intake - $225
I forget what the timing cover was.
It's around $1000 to have all the obvious engine components ceramic coated.
Do I see a ceramic coated intake?!
You're welcome Craig! Enjoy!
I PMd you with pictures of the instructions. I can scan them and make a PDF if that's easier. You just need the felt brick - probably something you can find or make with craft store supplies.
If someone has the dimensions you cut make a new one. The problem is accessibility. I'm not sure this can be reached properly without removing the heater box, which is HELL and must be done with the...
I believe it's just for the radio. The original windshield is in place, and i can see the embedded antenna in the lower RH corner, but i think this is a work around for the fender mount recall. The...
Volker - even though you have no AC at the moment, putting the the selector on "MAX AC" will cut off coolant flow to the heater core and keep your feet a bit cooler if that is in fact the problem.
Even if there was going to be a new BTTF the Delorean would likely have nothing to do with it. I doubt they'd even reference the first 3, the same way all the other terrible recent remakes haven't....
Cracked 4916's callipers. It literally looks like they were packed with mud. At least 2 pistons were seized.
