Thank you both kindly!!
Delorean performance have a webpage? I tried to google it, nothing came up. PJ Grady sell one?
Ahh, is part #110085A the best replacement for it? What else should be replaced along with the pump for a thorough job?
I have been hearing a droning noise coming from the front of my 83, more prevalent during hot weather. Sounds like its originating beyond the dash, possibly where the fuel tank is filled. Any ideas...
I'm at a tire shop, unfortunately they don't have 195/60s for the front. They have 195/65s, and 185/65s. Do I go for one of the other, or neither?
I don't see why not, I believe they just have to have the QR code for them to get it for you. Please double check with the website, just to be safe.
I forgot to mention in my first post, but if you want to meet Michael J Fox for either an autograph or photo-op, you have to buy the ticket ahead of time. They WERE sold out not long ago, HOWEVER...
Friday I think would be best after the con hours, like around 7 or 8pm.
I'm down, and I'd bet my friend would be too. He's a (pardon the pun) future DeLorean owner.
Nice! Hopefully, I'll see ya'll there! Just know Michael J Fox is only there for Friday and Saturday.
From May 16-19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, the cast of Back to the Future will be there for autographs, photo ops and panels.
As tempting as it is to roardtrip with my '83...
I apologize, and do appreciate the advice. I was told mine looked a bit rough, so that's the main reason I was asking (which should also have been in the first post).
The oil drain plug? Does it work decently enough?

Thankfully, it was my mechanic who did the work, and he didn't toss the old water pump. The old plug was used in the new swap, so that's taken care of. I just wanted to know for future reference. I...
After having my water pump swapped out (complete assembly), it was brought to my attention that in the kit, there was no replacement for a plug that is supposed to go into a specific hole.
(For a...
I saw a little bit coolant from the rear of my engine. I saw a similar post previously and believe it may have to do with the water pump?
After seeing another Delorean fire make its rounds on facebook, it scared the hell out of me. I do have a fire extinguisher, but there is also talk that the original fuel lines should be replaced to...
I believe its pointing down. How would I tell, if the prongs from the otterstat that the wires connect to are going down? If thats the case, its pointing down.
Found the otterstat and wires, wasn't really able to hold them together to jump. Awkward angle. I'll try later with a wire or paperclip. I'm assuming if it doesn't work, then the otterstat is bad?
I was told months ago that my radiator would have to be replaced soon. I could drive on the highway no problem with the air flow keeping the engine cool, but when I got to a stop sign or light, the...
I didn't install the radiator myself, my mechanic did it for me.
Had my radiator replaced recently, and my cooling problems seemed to go away. However, just today I noticed something odd in that when I was parked, my cooling fans weren't turning on at 220 (they...
I noticed lately, that while driving, my DMC-12 has no issues with the cooling system keeping the engine cool. However, when I'm parked or not moving (engine still running), I hear my cooling fans...
How can I verify? What do I look for? I was driving for an hour back to the house, and I didn't feel anything wrong.
