This sounds pretty right. 2638, a stick CAN manage 125 on flat ground, but the 115-125 range feels like it takes forever. I doubt a stock auto is going to crack 120 on the flats. Run either car...
Ok, so there is in-fact no adapter sold? If that's the case, unless rock auto has something for some other car that happens to fit, I'm out of luck and need to do my overhaul now rather than later?
Well, my orifice tube was partially clogged with a little bit of hose crud, however it was not "very clogged" and the AC still worked - I suspect that the hoses are still OK at least for a few more...

So what part? #29 clearly isn't right for mine, where do you find the adapter? If it this??--
...
Well I fixed my AC about a year ago or so, it has the old style accumulator without the cross-over pipe. At that time I replaced it with a correct original unit, and also replaced the orifice tube...
Eh, Mine still works :) Not that when it takes the shit I won't upgrade, but it's got 30+ years and 20K under it's belt...
I really like that 264 Volvo... But. All the "performance" of a DeLorean, more weight, and less cool. Naah, not for me.
Anyone looking for an Eagle Premier motor to build... should come down...
Love it, man it would have been nice if the Delorean had an optional box where you could select the turbo lotus engine ;)
When they are loose, they make all kinds of creaking and popping noises. I just gunned mine down with the impact wrench.
The general "feel" of the car, while going down the road, over bumbs feels loose and a bit unsecure.
The ergonomics are also fairly questionable. The seating position is "good" not excellent, ...
The VIN related stuff are federal laws. You CAN do what ever you want, so long as you don't get caught ;)
Interesting that you are a "saab guy" - I am one too. I have owned probably 15 over the years... You know of saabrally.com? I'd highly recommend it.
I'm not sure what your issues are, however...
Ditto on the bar not being broken, if it's broken you won't be lifting that door up without both hands from the exterior of the car, as it weighs about 100 lbs. the gas struts do almost nothing if...
The video seems to have died again... :(
Looked nice to me! It's a 30+ year old Irish car that you actually drive once in a while. It's not going to be perfect, mine isn't. But it's a DeLorean!
On a somewhat related note, has anyone done an amp-draw test on the new pumps Vs the old type? My guess would be there is probably a savings of an amp or 2 being that it is a more modern pump rather...
I have the DMCH fuel pump, and I just ordered the usplastic check valve. Now... I can't diss the product, It is nice to have someone selling improved products for these cars, but....... It seems...
I often say "less then a new Honda civic" But... I think I am going to taker the "make me an offer" or the "I wouldn't sell mine for less than "$XX,000" as a future response.
"dust shield" I think is the wrong word, more like "undertray" - all modern cars have them someplace, usually to correct an area of aerodynamic deficiency. Very likely this is why the D had them...
t=This is regional for sure.... cars you NEVER see in NY because they all rusted into the ground, but had good drivelines you WILL see elsewhere -many Jap cars for example... Cars that had...
Every time I have ordered from DMCH, it has always been professionally packed, and everything I ordered was there. The quality of parts however, was sometimes questionable. Power window switches...
I had a bad switch that was shorting internally that was causing this. Also make sure that the switches can move freely and are not binding in the center console, as that can cause problems & fuse...
In many cars, you can simply un bolt the wheel and pull, and you'll have the wheel. Not so with the Delo... I did the air hammer trick just yesterday, and yep - popped it right off, no problem. ...
I pulled the wheel, and the column to replace the lower bushing. Found this on the carpet afterward. It's back together and everything works and it tight. No idea what these are from...
