Thanks for all the tips (and pics). I finally got the front guide out and it does look rippled down the spine and has a twist at the end.. Ordered new front guide. I'm going to adjust everything just...
Thank guys.. When get the window down it "pops" free then goes down by hand. There must be some tension. Maybe the guides are bent. The front did show a bend and the factory pics look very straight....
For 25 plus years the passenger side window has not opened and now I see why. The window never moved since I've had it (regulator just made a popping sound). I managed to get the regulator off the...
This is spot on. You guys are the best. I got most of it back together but I'll recheck everything.62950
Thank you so much. Funny you mention brown/orange lines. I have and brown/orange & orange/black wires. Alarming?
[QUOTE=DMC-81;255211]Sorry, I meant to reply at the time but got sidetracked.

Days later... yeah if you could, it would be a big help. Don't wanna get my wires crossed.
I hate to post this because it's a little embarrassing but I've been doing a fuse box clean up and now I forget exactly how the wiring goes to the circuit breakers. So, does anyone have a detailed...
I was thinking of changing the thermostat as part of a while I'm there kinda thing. The thermostat is fairly new but I have another one hanging around so why not. Now I look closer and they are...
Probably easier & cheaper to rebuild the caliper rather than replace it.. rebuild kit is cheap & the piston's are'nt too bad. if the bore is scored then .. shitty
That's what I thought. I guess ever so technically it is a import but classic fits, much broader class but..
I wanted to know if you had to pick a class for a car show, what class would you pick from the following .. muscle, import or classic? I know muscle is out but can't decide on the others?
I doubt it. That play is probably in the inner tie rods, there is plastic bushings inside that wear out. Try to craw under or get the car in the air and tug on the inner rods, if they move around...
Me too!
That sure looks like excessive play in the rack. Could be the outer tie rod ends but ill bet its in the rack.
Night and day when I replaced mine. The inner rods were totally shot and the bushing was missing. What a difference indeed!
Wow. Well they looked new and soft. I did the engine rebuild in 2013.
When I went over my VOD, Dave at midwest suggested the Bougicord. He told me they are french but he never has a problem with them. So far so good
Thanks Mike!
** Bump Bump ** any other thoughts?
I guess it shows a lot of people don't mess with the Frequency valve.
I'm doing a little fuel line work now and was wondering if any one has any tips or pics on replacing the 3 lines (got the line set from dpi, very nice) on the right side of the unit? They look pretty...
I did. Its going to haunt my dreams but I did get it on. It was a 2 man job.
All done. It is a pain in the ass. It really was'nt so bad I guess, just getting the little clip around the bottom of the shifter on was a nightmare. And I lost the pin that goes through the shifter...
Well that sucked. I decided to take the car for a drive to work (nice ride), so I pull into the lot and back into the spot. I popped out, it looked a little off line so I pull it up and straighten it...
I saved 4k to lessen the overall loan amount to bring down the monthly payments. Once the payment amount was "do" able I took the plunge on a car that sat since '93 and just barely ran, sight unseen....
