so using a pick probe i found a few things. First off with the RPM relay socket jumped, the two wire fuel pump harness with only glow on the ground side.

the pick will glow at the inertia switch...

i checked voltage straight from the harness.

I tested the pump hooked into the battery and the pump worked.

so i was driving and the car stalled. i have the dmc-h new fuel pump system.

i took a paperclip and jumped the rpm relay. nothing.

i checked inertia switch, its down.

Right. With these gm style ones tho. The dcmh ones are the only ones i know that require an external check valve. Wondering why that is

Sorry to bump an old thread here but the DMCH pump comes with a check valve but these pumps do not. If these are considered cheap alternatives wouldnt a check valve need to be in place when using one...

the computer I got from the previous owner and he said it was rebuilt, not sure from where.

the filter was not swapped when the new computer was plugged in, so maybe that's a good place to start....

ANNNNNND.. no. that didnt work. it altered the sound tho. its seems to be coming from the very top back of the intake manifold which is really off. i give up. its going to the shop in the morning.
