Rich,
I got an e-mail with a Paypal invoice for $50 stating my ticket had never been paid for. Just checking in with you here to make sure this is legit. I can't even remember when I bought my...
Count me in as a lifelong fan of BTTF who is at least planning on buying a D soon. Had I not gotten married and decided to buy a house I'd have bought one by now.
I chatted with the DCS 2014 winner on Twitter/Facebook. He was super excited to get the car and seemed to be having fun with it. IIRC he had forgotten that he had even entered the raffle. I remember...
Awesome stuff, Rich. That venue is gorgeous. Great idea raffling off two cars as well! I'll be buying a few tickets as soon as the ordering system is back up.
That's awesome! Congrats!
Well, here we are six months later and I'm finally getting around to this...
My church, Church by the Glades, isn't your average church, we go above and beyond in our presentation to make it more...
Yeah, I stumbled upon this last night as well. Looked too good to be true. If I was in the market I might've given him a call though...
Bummer Orlando didn't work out that well. It's the only DCS I've been to as its right in my back yard. I'm hoping to make it to Indianapolis in 2016...God willing, with a DeLorean.
I'd like to...
What was 2012 like in terms of attendance? Did being in Orlando with family-oriented attractions help attendance? Or did being so far south hurt attendance?
Ha, well nicely done! I had one of those when I was very young, but the seat cracked. It sat in our garage for 10 years before my Dad finally threw it away. I would've loved to have kept it and fixed...
Whoever converted the BTTF power wheels to a stock D - you're awesome.
Hank, thanks for posting that kit! What a cheap and easy way to get a flux lighting circuit. Does using only 3 bands of LEDs work on the same principle as Tomico's circuit, connecting the would-be...
IIRC, Doc's bumper sticker says "One nuclear bomb can ruin your whole day"
It wasn't in the original theatrical release. The added it for home video. I think the blu-rays reflect the theatrical release as well.
Crap. Now I'll have to see the movie.
Hey, that's my story!
I worked with Chevrolet Performance till this past week and this was one of the last interviews/stories I wrote with them. I've been a huge DeLorean fan all my...
Here's a D I found out in the wild today and put on IG. Vin #3617 was in the parking lot of the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auction. The fact that at least 3 other parties of 2-4 people came to look...
So what happens to this car if the owner or their next of kin cannot be contacted?
I think the real photobomb here is in the driver's seat.
I did some quick searching but couldn't find a concise list of production changes by VIN #. I pulled the following information out of the Concours manuals. I'm sure I didn't catch everything, does...
There was! The director's son was the little kid in the commercial, they had just watched BTTF together and he loved it, that's how they came up with the idea.
Yeah, that was a great spot, loved seeing the D! But my vote may have to go to another time machine related commercial - my friend was "Mr. Smith" in the Doritos Time Machine commercial!
Definitely prefer the lighter silver rims. The rear wheel closeups during the mall scene in BTTF are ingrained in my mind, watching the car slide around like that and then burnout with those wheels...
Awesome stuff, looks great. What's your plan for the rear deck? Are you going to design something that fits on top of the louvres or will you be removing them for your temporary conversions?
