Thanks Chris and Rob. The winter Struct sound like they may be worth a shot. Rob, when will they be available?
Thanks Robert. I believe I'm already up one tick from stock on the torsion bar. ...
Thanks Dermot. That's interesting. I hadn't thought about upping the pressure a bit. To be honest, the set I had on previously didn't have the damping and actually worked pretty well. Not sure I...
OK, so a bit of a different request from most. Since my doors are modified and have some extra weight due to the fiberglass extensions, I actually need the strongest strut possible. The last set I...
Hey Derek, responded to your pm (didn't see an email). My email is protodelorean (at) yahoo.com

Light gray Speaker Panel still available
Sale pending on dark gray panel with one more interested.
Light gray unit still up for grabs.
Thanks guys!
Steve
Hey everybody. I know its been a while. (life/family/work stuff) Anyhoo, I've currently got two speaker panels, one light gray and one dark gray, boxed up and ready to go. Not sure when the next...
I'm with Nick. I think it was overtorqued and/or possibly had stiffer (urethane?) bushings. Either, or the combination would've caused the bar to try to bend at the end and not pivot in the bushing.
The Black/Yellow D is me. :wave2:
Hey Shep. Sorry about the delay. Still making them and have folks on the list int he the order they've inquired. Family, work, and weather has held me up a bit. My policy though is that I will...
Correct. Speakers NOT included. I should have stated that just to eliminate any confusion.
Yep. No significant difference. I'd have to measure a panel, but it's probably like an inch in the middle and two where the speakers are raised.
It is removable, by removing the cargo net hooks/screws (same as the original rear panel)

Good catch! And yes, it would. But the speaker panel comes with a set of redesigned access covers that do clear. (That way you don't have to cut your originals and if you ever wanted to go back to...
Some DeLorean owners prefer to keep everything original. Others go to the opposite extreme and customize everything they can. However, most DeLorean owners choose to keep their cars essentially...
I don't at the moment. (It was on the old .com site.) Let me start up another thread so I we don't hi-jack this one.

Granted, a sports car can be a challenge, but is it insensitive of me to think: if a person can't get into or out of a car like a minivan on their own, MAYBE THEY ARE NO LONGER FIT TO DRIVE.????? ...
Not much to add here. This is going to be the nicest "stock" DeLorean interior out there. Stay tuned if you're interested in carbon fiber bits for accents!
Ding Ding Ding! The ones that I'd seen for sale had these huge exposed flanges and double-sided tape. (nasty) I was planning the approach that Nick described above.
Edit: I found a shot of the...
Dermot, I've been thinking ab out that one myself. I know it would work on my car. Not sure how many folks with bare stainless would be willing to lose some stainless, even if it is for carbon...
Hey Shep. Replied to your PM. As for the Jack Cover, No, not a structural part. It is however a nicely visible part in the front trunk that is very easy to install. So for someone wanting to add...
Coil cover - on my list
air box - probably not a good shape for open molding. (more suited for injection molding)
binnacle - Isn't DMCH doing these?
license plate bezel - also on my list
