Yup, definitely mice. I had the exact same problem. Turned out they used all the chewed up foam to make a nest inside the passenger pontoon!
Excellent video. Was at Ballintoy and the hedges myself last October. (Just before they closed to traffic). Amazing places and well worth seeing!
My clock arrived yesterday; I got it fitted tonight in about half an hour. It's a breeze to fit. You can't even tell it's a modern replacement!
