I don't have any electronics in the car other then my cellphone in my pocket, it is very stock.
Mine is the Craig radio I believe. The one with the clock built into the cassette deck door....
I searched a bit and couldn't find an answer so, here's my question.
I have awful radio reception in my car. I have the manually retractable, front right fender mount antenna.
I have replaced...

The following items are gone:
Crankshaft
Crankshaft Pulley + Nut
Oil dipstick + tube
Still left:
Piston liners
Original Alternator (seized)
Original Starter (doesn't work)
You are first in line for those two. I'll PM you with a shipping cost tomorrow.
Crankshaft pulley is straight, but heavily corroded. Which is why I didn't use it. It will eat belts as is. Someone skilled with aluminum may be able to save it.
Looking to clean out my garage a bit, as I've started the next project and need space. These parts were all off of my original 2.8L engine. They are corroded or rusted to the point that I did not use...
A plan similar to that was in the running, but having to piece together a distributor from a combo of 2.8 parts and the cap from something like a 70s BMW made me shy away. Neat to hear you were able...
To answer a few questions:
nkemp: As far as I know everything you said is correct, and I believe the spacers would need to be 3/4"
dodint: given the combination I used, there is no real power...
I used the 2.8 heads on the 3.0 block. Which means all of the intake stuff fit without too much hassle.
The entire ignition system is stock 2.8 stuff.
Thanks! I think the only way to tell it's a 3.0 from that picture is the oil dipstick tube. It's different than the stock 2.8 one.
I don't have any questions, I've just been having some good luck with my 3.0L premier swap and wanted to share. A number of forum members helped me out with this in the Fall/Winter 2014. Thanks to...
For the first time, my D has A/C. Just in time for Summer weather. So happy :)
Thanks for the link. Looks good, but the bracket is installed in the reverse direction of mine. Is this for Saturn alternators, or both?
And I run a 3.0 as well, but I kept the stock pulleys and...
Can you post a picture of this installed?
I've had Josh's yellow lines on my 3.0 for about a year and a half. So far so good. You could probably route them differently than I did, but I was happy with how they turned out.

The point of the post was where the bearings were made, not who has the cheapest.
I don't, I can check for the receipt. All I did was take the old/original bearing in. They matched it by the part number on the side of the bearing. I think they were $24 each for the new ones. This...
I don't really want to throw these on the scrap metal pile, so I thought I'd check to see if someone wants them first. The master is heavily rusted. To the point that I can't get it separated from...
The bearings I just got from Napa say made in Italy on the side. Not sure if that is better or worse.
I replaced a few items on my A/C system, hoses included. I'd like to verify I have them hooked up right before I pull a vacuum and then charge it.
Low Pressure line (Fat Line, blue r134a fitting)...
