Or it is magic...
Ok my mistake. Looks clear when you look into the bottle but pour some out and it magically changes color 🤣
After a trip to Walmart, it seems Prestone is now clear, not green
Is that stuff green?
I'm due to change the coolant soon. What is everyone using these days? Lots of exotic coolant options out there to choose from.
Thanks
John
Hi Jonathan
Haven't been on here in a long time. Car hasn't been getting much use. Just had it at a cruise night tonight.
Might have to do the Elmira cruise next week if I am around!
Problem solved. Bad RPM relay
I went for a quick drive today. After I shut down, the frequency valve continued to buzz and would not shut off until I disconnected the battery. Is this a bad valve or could it be something else. I...
Just grabbed a couple of these. Thanks for the tip guys! Finally getting rid of the crumbling foam!
Heat and a battery powered impact gun that doesn't have alot of torque
I just finished flushing my cooling system and was looking through an old box of parts and came across a coolant bottle cap.
It is an RC 26 15lb cap. I think I got it from Special T years ago. ...
I though you were referring to the other end.
Not sure how I removed it....probably have blocked out that traumatic memory!
Worked every time for me
Less 1987 Porsche 928's in the world than Deloreans.
It's not the rarity. It is because it is a pop culture icon which brings out the idiot in many people!
These cars seem to bring out the worst in some people. Rarely do you hear of these kind of problems with other classic car types. I can leave my Porsche 928 or mercedes 500sl in the Walmart parking...

Why not? I still have cats and o2 sensor. What else is required?
I am pretty sure it is the cap. Bend the tabs on it to make it tighter. Worked for me.
Did the cap actually come off?
I had an issue with a cap that had coolant spraying from the sides. It wasn't sealing properly and as the pressure built up coolant sprayed out. Bending the tabs on...
Yup...you should see me at car shows when people start asking me about JZD's cocaine conviction!
Hahahahahaha or you could just send all your extra cash to me....or burn it....or install a 928 engine!
Here is an example of the parts costs. Last year I did an intake refresh on my 928...similar...
Calling the Porsche V8 a glorified VW motor shows your utter lack of knowledge on the subject. The 928 was the first "clean sheet" design that was not built using VW or Audi parts or design.
As the owner of a 1987 Porsche 928, I would say that you would have to be INSANE to use the engine in ANY car!
Parts prices are ridiculous and it is a very complicated engine brimming with cutting...
Do yourself a favor....just get a dpi exhaust!
Just did this a couple days ago. Used a 2x2 piece of wood 5" long. Combined with the mattaligner, the LED switches stay flush
