is that the correct coil for her replacement compressor? oh wait..never mind.

that's awesome! nothing better than when it fixes itself, but bad coils like to do that. If it stops working again that re-confirms the coil. I had one work one day and then stop the next. that...
its just a bad clutch coil. its just a electro magnet that grounds through the mounting bolts for the compressor and gets its power through that single wire. you have given it everything needed to...
i disagree with replacing the evaporator. That took me hours....HOURS to change, but i had a leak. I would however check for a leak with a sniffer before thinking its toast. With a evaporator leak...
You are just fighting corrosion and "O" ring stickage. That hose just slides in there with the plastic orfice tube first. Did you try twisting the hose with a pair of channel locks at the strong...
I prefer the double outlet versions. also you need to get a 2.5 amp output. some of the cheaper ones are low amp and won't fast charge your hardware.

I found that the easiest way is to rinse the whole car off with a water hose, then use four towels to dry it off in the direction of the grain. No soap just water. Use the sun to watch for streaks....
there must be something inside the squirrel cage fan. just drop it down and clean it out. also put some spray lube around the bearing ends. pop the rubber vent tube out to lube it up

you personally cant sell without having regrets. if you were ready to sell you wouldnt be thinking so hard about it. When i sold mine i didnt think about it for very long, because I knew it was time....
I had mine for ten years. Seems like around the five year mark my driving time was cut way back. Then I started driving it again. Five years is that weird spot. If you sell it, buy another cool car...
I wonder if someone snipped that ground off and ran it to another ground source. Previous electrical problem trouble shooting.Probably the ground for the radio. Where is the radio grounded now?

Most likely stuck. The mechanism will rust inside the tube. Factory ones are really noisy anyways. Like really noisy

Hook each motor direct to a battery. Make a jumper and start with the passenger side. It's close to the battery. Doesn't matter the polarity. Polarity changes the direction of movement

Does it run up to the square port on the firewall?

Rh apost? Looks like the crank position sensor. What's left of it anyways. Only used during diagnosis and tuning

I really like purple clean or super clean. It's in a purple bottle at Walmart. It will damage single stage paint if it's not diluted. Great stuff. It really breaks oil down. I usually do a fifty...
You could try disconnecting the Speedo cable from the lamda box

Oh yeah..i am very familiar with that issue. I changed all the rubber pieces around the fuel pump on my car and I still couldn't fill the tank up. Pull that top rubber piece off by removing the big...
Running rich or lean will not produce white smoke. Crazy old varnish for gas might..

How old is the gas?

Bad head gasket..idk. Is the oil milky? How about light brown fluffy oil around filler cap? I don't think a bad head gasket would create hard starting like you are describing. I guess depending on...
Tie rod ends thread onto the rack. You should be able to get a new end with the same thread. You can see in the photo the flats you hold with a open end wrench and the teeth marks from a pipe wrench....
Is it the same size as the bottom of the air filter box?
