Apparently, mine was never changed out after all these years. I have no white splotch. It is located on the footwell though.

Apparently, mine was never changed out after all these years. I have no white splotch. It is located on the footwell though.
After all this, it's the inertia switch. Bypassed temporarily and car ran great for 45 minutes before I turned the key off. Ordered a new one and should be here by Tuesday. Thank you all again for...
Was thinking it could be as simple as a plugged filter. Can't hurt to replace it. I did take the pump out and checked it the suction hose was collapsed, but it was good.
I would not call it consistent. ill have to time if a few times to really see. I took off the air filter and watched the air flow sensor plate during idle. Right before it dies, the plate moves...
Update:
Received my new relays and put them in. Fuel pump will not turn on now. Tried jumping it and nothing. I removed the new Lambda relay and plugged the old one back in. Fuel pump turns on...
Just ordered a new set of relays just for shits and giggles.
Not sure what happened, but when I tested everything again before I spliced in a new wire and now each wire is either zero or 0.4 ohms.
Got 4 ohms resistance one the first wire. 0.3 Olmsted second wire, and no continuity for the third. Looks like I need to run a new wire.
Gotcha. Thanks Dave
Still troubleshooting and discovered this...Took the air filter box off and with the car running at idle, I push down on the plate and it immediately stalls.
A little update. The car starts up great on a cold start. It idles, although it does hunt a little bit (always done this). I can rev up the engine and it goes back to idling.
So I decided to...
Thanks. I would definitely need some pics to fully understand what you did. I can splice in new wires, but not sure where everything is located.
Also, with my issue, it doesn't always start right...
I do have the old style with the hose. Dave, do you happen to have a picture of the plug for the distributor and coil? I am on an anniversary vacation, but will be working on the car this weekend. ...
So it's not an engine warming issue. I wanted to move the car to another garage that had more room. I started it up, backed up, and drove the 300 feet to the end of my street. When I pushed in the...
Previously, I had driven about an hour and a half, stopped for a few hours, then drove back home and everything was fine. On Monday, I drove maybe 25 minutes, stopped for about an hour, then drove...
Sorry, I should have said what I already corrected from the last time it happened. Solid state rpm relay. Cleaned all grounds and ran a new ground for inertia switch. Cleaned rear ballast resistor...
So I ran into this a few months ago and very appreciative for everyone's help. My car died on the road and after troubleshooting all electrical, I ended up replacing my fuel pump, primed the lines,...
If there's a 50/50 chance, 90% of the time I will choose wrong. Haha.
Had the lines reversed, but it actually did not matter at that point...I heard the pump turning on to prime, but I wanted to...
I just got my new pump and installed it. I put fresh gas in the tank, turned the key and heard the pump turn on. However, the engine would not start. I tried pumping the gas a little while turning...
Took out the fuel pump over the weekend and played around with it quite a bit. Its definitely dead. Ordered a new one and should be here by Friday. Will let everyone know how it goes.
Thank you...
Sorry its been a while. I was away for business. Not much progress...I took off each adapter and took some corrosion off. Still only getting 8.3 V at the fuel pump. Is there something I can test?...
That's in the engine compartment, right? Would someone please provide me with a picture just so I know I'm checking the correct item?
Did this and it read -1.42 V
Is 12.14 Normal for the battery?
Any suggestions on a good one to replace it with? I've seen the "Fuel Pump 909" search on ebay one for $50 and it looks fairly easy to replace. Or is it worth it to do the the DMCH one?
