Don't use PLA for inside a car with heat Dave. Use something that has a high heat deflection point like PETG. PLA will start to melt and debond. You may be okay but longevity is a potential issue...
Hey Josh,
How did you wire it to the ECU, any directions or tips?
Or are you on the LS engine, not a PRV and have a different ECU?
I get the TPM in bulk so it costs me around $660 for a whole setup. I have to call the supplier direct.
DPM is a cheaper, easier available alternative but it leaves behind a cloudiness that gasses...
It's a bit expensive but it lasts about 4 times longer so when you do the math on the cost of the IPA it about evens out. Before the quarantine it was about $95 dollars for me to get 3 gallons of...

It works quite a bit better and lasts longer without as much evaporation. It does need a rinse off in water after. I’m not sure where to source it locally.
You can switch to TPM and not spend a fortune.

I for one appreciate it since I just ordered a whole bunch of those parts from you. :)
I have a perfect original binnacle on my car with no cracks or flaws. I haven’t had to do any dash work but if there is an easy way to get it out I can scan it up and make a 3D master.
I just...
Hey Dave, I've just emailed you to get a few parts! I'm ready to move away from some original relays and give yours a go!
I was talking about your grill! Fillets are important, for sure.
It looks great!
You need to bevel the ends of that grill. It isn't razor sharp like your model is showing and has a slight bevel on the edges.
To print something that large is very very expensive if done in...
The part was built with visible facets. It just needs to be subdivided more before the booleans for the lettering and it’ll work great.
Did you use one of my layouts or make a new one for that...
Two modified form files sent your way with explanations!
I can run them on my end if you send me the file without the cube embedded but you should be able to test on your end. I'm sure they'll...
I just messaged you on Facebook. You may need a re-orient and additional supports at the lower end of the print. Position on platform hasn’t ever mattered for me on printing.
Can you send screenshots of your form file? Sound like you may be creating cups with the print which is causing the part to stick on the tank bottom.
It isn't because of the covering of UV light. The recommendation is because if the lower transparent layer fails while not in use in the printer it won't pour resin all inside the bed of the printer...
Hey there, Don’t leave the tank in the printer when you’re not actively printing. Store in in the orange and black storage case that it came in. I’ve been STRONGLY advised this by the Form3...
I've designed a fully modular, interchangable cupholder system that allows for 2 "coke" can sizes, a big gulp size, iphone holder, and generalized storage that all uses factory mounting and looks...
It's pretty fun.
Laser sintering to nylon but the HP multijet is similar to the objet in how it lays down the material. Both are great processes though I believe the HP setup is a pseudo...
mr_maxime,
nylon printers are now $10,000. Time's are changing as tech matures!

I used to teach at Gnomon, they have quite a few good courses and you can also get training videos. Not sure if the cost is too much but it's a potential...
3d printing services in general charge a 700-1000% markup on the cost to print. It's something to bear in mind when using those services.
The wash and cure machines allow for better part finishing after the print.

They’re probably part of that more expensive bundle now.
