thanks guys. one vendor told me to install fatter orings to ensure the seal.
I have brand new injectors and the original orings fit quite right, but they aren't hard to install or remove at all

FWIW I removed the glass fuse (which was horribly scotch-locked to a hot wire from the ignition lock) and I wired a new cable from fuse 18 to the brake switch..
I remember Dave S. reporting that he found cars where the (original) plastic washer let air bubbles in the fluid circuit..

I would remove the plastic washer on the slave cyl adapter
I would remove the powder coat on the fork pivot ball, and slightly polish the ball

you can simply add a new ground wire on the starter relay base and get rid of the original white/yellow wire..
I don't want to go OT more than necessary, so I'll end saying that when I drove a Renault Alpine (basically same engine same gearbox same clutch and even same slave cyl) the clutch pedal effort was...
