Just an update: solved mostly

I installed a new idle speed switch, didn’t hook the wires up to the correct terminals

Car drives like a stage 2 now in closed loop mode, idle is perfect and...

Also to add to this the rpm never changes it just acts like fuel starvation

Yes the light comes on, gets right at 13v on the dash gauge. All the connections for the alternator are correct.

I did the rebuild myself, the motor had 100,108 miles on it before i did the rebuild. The reason it was pulled was to replace all the gaskets, when I opened it up to do the heads it looked really bad...

So after thinking about it I used assembly lube on the pistons to install them. Now knowing better I wouldn’t do that again. I wonder if this is the piston blowing and pushing that assembly lube...

Just rebuilt the engine on 10686 and got her to fire up for the first time. I had some issues with getting it to fire but those seem to have worked out, it will fire now with no plug swap and idles....

i purchased new liners and pistons from deloreango.com/dmc europe. I went with the high compression ratio ones, i need to get shim kit.

Well just so you all know I’m doing a full rebuild. I just want to make sure I’m getting it done right, don’t want to skimp on anything. Both heads are off already

Anyone have a good rec's for a complete head rebuild with performance cams? I dont want to put those 100k ones back on with out at least a valve job, would like to do a port, polish and new cams.

It's the actual hole where the cross over screws in. It snapped off and is stuck in the threaded hole
