I wonder what it would cost to send a wheel from here to the UK and back. It is surprising because I generally don't think of the UK as a low-labor-cost area! To your second comment, I think my local guy was giving me the "those are a real pain to do, please go away!" price.

I really can't fathom how the Momo knockoffs get here and retail for $30. Somewhere in China someone is making steering wheels for about 4 cents an hour.

$500 is steep for a recover, better be snakeskin!

Dave, will you sell just the logos for the wheel even if we already have the DMCH adapter/Momo wheel?

    Yes. $25. Machined from aluminum.

The emblem is essentially the icing on the cake - if doing the Momo wheel, you gotta get the emblem

Hah! Before the DMCMW emblem, DMCH wouldn't sell an emblem. I've got a knockoff momo wheel, and I didn't want to use the "EKTOR" emblem. I painstakingly filled in the dent, and recovered the center of the wheel:

You can still see the dent, but only at certain angles. Maybe now I will re-dent and recover the wheel, especially after a friend gifted me a custom DMC emblem

I think the momo wheels are best complemented with the dmoco.com stainless shifter plates:

Dave, at DCS you and Julee also had a stock steering wheel center pad on display with the raised DMC logo that you are coming out. Any pics or updates on this?

Still in development. No updates yet. That was a 3d printer prototype.

    Wondering aloud...

The previous owner of my car had a Momo wheel installed using Houston's adapter. However, it did not have that nice center pad, just a horn button which I thought was cheesy, so I put the original wheel back on. I still have the Momo wheel, and I wonder if I the center pad is available separately.
