    Another new owner!

    Greetings all!

First time poster and first time owner here, just had my 1983 D dropped off this morning here in southern California. What a blast that was driving to work today

Just wanted to say hello and thanks for the info supplied throughout these forums; I've been on here the past month lurking and doing my due-diligence reading past threads to make sure I found a Delorean that worked for me.

Welcome to the club. Glad you have been lurking and learning instead of just jumping in and not knowing what you are getting into.

Oh, man. That takes all the fun out of it.

    Congratulations on your D!
And remember to post pics. It never happened/is not real if there are no pics!

The way I see it, if you're gonna drive around in a car, why not do it with some style?

Heres a couple pics I got

Car is an 83 5-speed with 2500 original miles. It's all original from what I can tell with the exception being I randomly have the late style Craig radio instead of an ASI.

I live in Lake Forest in Orange County, so I'm just down the street from Danny at DMC California, I plan on taking the car to him in a few weeks to make sure it's road worthy and good to go.

All original is right. I don't see the red paint mark in the engine bay for the front end recall, so you may want to check and see if that was done. Has the throttle shield recall so it may be there and just no mark.

Looks like a nice car, enjoy!

Looks great! As I scrolled through the pics I commented to myself how clean the engine bay is, then I scrolled to the next pic and saw the mileage! No wonder!

Looks like your A/C has been updated. It appears to have r134 service ports on it.

Great car! Keep us posted on how the visit to DMCCA goes!

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"
