No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Wow, that car is shiny! And only 2.5k on it. Amazing. The interior is looking great! Congratulations (again)!

The way I see it, if you're gonna drive around in a car, why not do it with some style?

Wow, beautiful car! Glad the forum was able to help guide you in the right direction. You certainly found a nice example from what I can see in the photos.

Looks like a nice car, enjoy!
Where did they normally put the Red Paint Mark??

On the "firewall" - the rear bulkhead of the engine bay, next to the ignition resistor. Should be a red dot, usually the size of a dime/penny and pretty sloppily applied.

My cousin is actually named Tim. As for me, ? ? ? ? == K y l e, not terribly clever, but it works.

But yes the recalls is one of the things I'm going to have DMCCA look at when I take it in for a more thorough inspection.

    And thanks for the welcome!

Red paint mark on an 83? I always thought the 83 was after the recall so it was done during its build? Where would the mark be?
