Interested to see how this plays out. Wouldn't need the torsion bars, I think you could turn a reasonable profit on those by themselves!

What's left of the interior is shot. The binnacle is destroyed, dash , knee pads, everything is just shot.

The car has been on craigslist for about a month. Looks like they just reported the ad. Asking $7,000. What a joke... http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/4565445621.html

Also here's a pic I took of the interior:

    $7k...I had heard $5k

Well I'll go and see what I can get it for. Cash talks and I know what the car was bought for when I knew it

Any have a list of the cars used in the movies. I thought there was some sort of vin list or estimation on the vins.

Oh, by no means is there any question as to whether this was a screen used vehicle. It for sure was not. They're just talking out of their asses at this place. I certainly would not pay $5,000 for that. I've picked up whole cars with Ken K. before for $5,000. At absolute most, I'd maybe pay $1,500 for it. To me it looked as though very little if anything from the interior was salvageable. The only potential useful things were the stainless panels and the tub; but tubs are really difficult to sell. That's just me though.

Best of luck! Just remember, whatever you do, do not act like you're buying a car. Remind them that this is NOT a car. This is just a bunch of parts.
