Remember that delorean with no frame....

So they didn't take my offer of $3k cash, I had started at $2k. Said they turned down an offer for $5k and they won't sell it for less than what it's on Craigslist. The guy at the dealership said it brings on customers and gets other stuff sold. So I told good luck and if he wants to sell it to contact me

I approached it as a pile of parts since I know it's too much work to rebuild. Guess I'll have to make money for my next Delorean the boring way.

Wish I had never ever sold 4875. If you come across a decent car for $5k let me know. I'd love one since all I get to do now is drool over my friends car.

Well thats too bad. Oh well!

If it makes you feel any better you did just save yourself alot of labor, stress and running around parting out a car by not getting it!

I've done it before so I'm no stranger to parting cars out or Deloreans for that matter.

Soon I'll be an owner again...

You should come to SEO Motorspots tomorrow in Melbourne for Eds open house. I know last month he had a complete car that they were looking to sell for around $5,000. Not sure if he's still got it but it might be worth looking into. If nothing else, it would be cool to hang and have another set of hands if folks have projects.

My friend that's in south FL bought that one I believe, I wish I had. I'd love to go but I'm helping someone pull the front fascia to do eyebrows and headlight buckets. I completely forgot about the open house. Of all open houses this one is probably the coolest.

If you're going to work on a DeLorean tomorrow, then you should both drive the car to Eds, and we can all work on the eyebrows at Eds shop!

I just got off the phone with the guy from Winter Garden not having looked the car up on this thread before hand.

    Here's what I know:

Car was hanging in a casino for many years, rich guy in Windemere purchased the car for a lawn ornament. The city didn't approve of it and he didn't supply the paperwork necessary to leave it there and it was towed.

The impound lot where it's currently for sale told him he needed to supply a title to get the car back. He only had a bill of sale from the casino. Car sat there for state allotted 30-45 days, whatever it is and at that point the car becomes "abandoned."

Being the impound lot deals with "abandoned" cars daily, they easily acquired the title from the state.

Thus now it sits, priced at $4500, he stated he was offered $4k for it as his highest offer and he turned it down as he was busy that day. but now regrets it and would accept the next offer closest to it.

I debated getting it and throwing something under it to get it drivable, but after seeing the interior pics (which were conveniently not provided on Craigslist) I'm definitely going to pass.
