Does any one know more about this project in Europe?

It looks fine to me, keeping the original design, only bigger sizes.
What do you guys think?

I very much like it. The stock wheel are the most beautifull and unique. Even among other vehicule they are of a very esthetical order! And to make it bigger by keeping the original design is a welcome move.
I could not imagine the D stock wheel mounted on an other car for example.
I always wonder who was in charge of the stock wheel design for the D? Not Giugiaro I think.
The last update on that site was almost a year ago so I'm afraid progress may have stalled.

That is or was the project started by WelmoedJ from the Netherlands. Welmoed Jonker said there were not enough people to pay a deposit or was it pay the full amount before the wheels can be manufactured. So the project got cancelled.
I was one of those people that was interested but never actually sent any money since the project was put on hold indefinitely.
www.delorean.com has their version of the oversized DeLorean rims but I have not seen any thing about it either for a very, very long time.
We can only hope…

If the Delorean is lowered on factory wheels, they will have an illusion that they are slightly bigger. Reducing the gap between the top of the wheel and the edge of the guard.

Cliff S. here in Cincinnati recently received a set of the 17" & 18" wheels from Martin. I saw them at the end of December. They were still in the shipping boxes so not yet mounted on a car but they looked awesome! I cant wait until he gets them on one of his cars. The wheels looked much more like the factory rims than the DMCH ones. These looked like they were cast and powdercoated unlike the DMCH ones which were machined.
EDIT: They actually looked like the rims in this video:
(The previous video looked like machined rims to me where as these look painted or powder coated^)
